Albert

Chihuahua | Brown | Male | Adult

Meet Albert

Albert wants to be loved but for some reason he does not easily trust that love is what he is going to get. He is slow to warm up and it takes calm and patience to earn his trust. He longs for affection, but it has to be on his terms. Albert flinches at loud noises or sudden movements so chances are he has met some humans that were not very nice to him. He will look to his person for safety and security and might be hesitant to try new things or meet new people alone. Once Albert trusts you, you will have a shadow wherever you go. He may not always want to be a lap dog, but he will beside his person whenever he can. Albert doesn’t mind other dogs that give him lots of space, but a person to love is that’s all his own probably wouldn’t bother him. Albert is ready to find someone that will show him that humans can be good so that he can just relax and finally be at home. His perfect foster home would be chi savvy, mellow and easy pace. Patient with him. He likes a fenced in yard over the leash but he does adapt to leash if it’s the only option. He is ok with other dogs but he doesn’t really play or interact a lot. He stands his ground when challenged. Since he is so sensitive to sudden movements and sound, he probably wouldn’t tolerate children well. He’d be scared to death and hide. Reference ID: 06-2
